Erica is doing well considering ..Good news she just received her "Good Cookie" which is a nick name for the good conduct medal.. three years of not getting in trouble. A friend of mine who is a retired Marine gave me the medal, since I'm a proud Marine mom, he said.  :) I thought that was so sweet :)

I really do apologize for not getting on here more, such is life. But really I have been waiting for pictures as I have none plus the fact that most things I know that are happening or that are going to happen I can not post till after the fact. Miss Erica's last mission was her unit went in support to the NATO summit in Chicago, they worked closely with the secret service. They did have threats but the worst for them thank the Lord was dealing with protestors.. it does bum me out that Erica makes a comment and gets attacked by people who supposably support her.. so guess what that just means less and less post. They have no idea what she was dealing with at the time and when someone makes a comment that does not mean they are talking about everyone they know. What is NATO?

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization, or NATO, is a political-military alliance made up of 28 member countries, including the United States. Formed in 1949, NATO has played a unique and essential role in maintaining security and stability throughout the past six decades. The core principle on which NATO was founded is the Article V commitment, which states that an attack on one member is an attack on all. In 2003, NATO continued its commitment to combat terrorism by taking over command of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) mission in Afghanistan. Every one of NATO’s 28 members contributes to that mission, as do 22 non-NATO contributors. In Libya last year, NATO successfully intervened to protect civilians under attack by enforcing an arms embargo, maintaining a no-fly zone, and conducting air strikes against military targets. Other efforts include three peacekeeping missions to the Balkans, countering piracy off the Horn of Africa, and assisting relief efforts following an earthquake in Pakistan.

getting ready for anything :) .. her whole unit its EMT certified found out she has not gone to classes yet her unit only sends a few at a time .. hoping she'll be in the next batch.

yes its been forever at least it seams that way .. with lifes little turmoils things happen from my shift change to my grandpas heart attack (he's okay) with erica changing duty stations .. all I can say os yeah she's state side but to far away..and another jury summons for her .. don't they check their records ... oh ya look shes in the military...duuhhh
